Using GuSS
There are eight basic actions a student can take in GuSS. Most of these center on holding a conversation with a simulated agent. The student can:
- ask questions to gather information,
- request another character to do something, such as set up an appointment,
- respond to something another character has said, agreeing or disagreeing,
- engage in small talk,
- perform a courtesy, such as saying "hello" or "I'm sorry",
- tell another character about something, for example, giving a recommendation,
- go to a place, or
- read documents.
