Stories have points and lessons to be learned. We need to step back from them and learn about life. The Thematic searching agent is charged with searching out stories on the basis of the points that they make. It adopts two different personas: the Guru and the Rabbi.
The Guru agent derives a point from the story and is prepared to tell you other stories that have the same point. The Rabbi agent attempts to find stories that have the opposite point or disprove the point made by the original story.
• The Guru: "Show me stories that confirm the thematic points of this story."
• The Rabbi: "Show me stories that oppose the thematic points of this story."
