I am not against books, but I do believe their range of usefulness will be narrowed dramatically by new technology. In time, it will probably be narrowed to the extent that the automobile has narrowed the usage of horse-drawn carriages. I do not believe this to be a bad thing, in fact, I believe it to be an exciting proposition.
Of course, those who depend on existing forms of books to make a living may object to these notions. Many who built horse-drawn carriages probably objected to the automobile. Still, in time, they will come around and support more powerful media.
